Kim Schoffstall
Kim Schoffstall is a Christian Singer/Songwriter – Worship Leader. Kim has wide spectrum of taste/style when it comes to music, and her writing mirrors her love for the elements of a well crafted song.
Life is hard, but God is good and he is the bridge that leads us down our true path. Kim continues to write from her own experiences and the world around her. Kim has written numerous faith- based contemporary songs, she also has songs she's written for liturgical settings. Even though she is a contemporary musician, she has a love and respect for hymns and their rich texts.
She is a member of the Songwriter's Association of Washington (SAW) based in Northern Virginia area. Through SAW she has been involved in monthly Song Circles and Song Exchanges, Coffeehouses, New Song Festival, Paul Reisler's Song Camp in the Mountains, Swannanoa Gathering in Asheville, N.C.; Cedar Run Songs in Madison, VA; and SAW Showcases where members are encouraged to perform their original music.
Kim is a graduate from Mary Washington College with a degree in Music Studies. While at Mary Washington her concentration was in studying Voice.
She is currently leading the Coffeehouse Service at Warrenton United Methodist Church. She leads music weekly with the Coffeehouse Music team, and a dedicated and skillful tech team. Warrenton United Methodist Church, Warrenton, VA. Service starts at 9:35. Awesome team, awesome staff, awesome God.
