The Storms That Fill My Heart

"Many times in my life there have been storms that have come up quickly and it is only by God's good grace that I did not drown." - K.S.
Verse 1:
When I'm tired and my troubles overwhelm me,
Tossing me just like a ship out on the sea.
Out in the deep you know I cannot see your lighthouse,
And these waves just keep
Sweeping over me.

Chorus:
Then I cry,
"Lord, I know you're there, but are you sleeping?
Don't you care that I'm nearly gonna drown?
Can't you see that I'm about to fall to peices?"
Then you come and gently still the storm.
Yes, you calm the storms that fill my heart.

Verse 2:
Lord you come and guide me to a haven,
Leading me faithfully to safe shore.
I will give thanks to you for your lovingkindness, and for your wonders to all the sons of men. (CH)

Verse3:
When I can feel the warm earth beneath me.
When I'm so sure my life is so complete.
Take me back to where I've been before.
Back in the arms that brought me to the shore. (CH)
